Senior School Success Day

…. A day to help Year 10,11 & 12 students develop peak performance skills

Prue Salter of ELES and Rocky Biasi of Human Connections (www.humanconnections.com.au) are offering a joint program that combines the practical study skills needed for success in the senior years with the mental strategies necessary to successfully implement these and deal with stress and anxiety. Not only do you benefit from the variety and experience of two presenters for your students but this also allows you to split your year group into half and benefit from smaller group sizes.

 

Topic areas covered are:

ELES: - Improving study skills - Making the most of classtime - Organisational skills - Managing time more effectively - Making study notes that work - Studying using learning styles - Understanding/helping your brain - Advanced memory techniques - BOS Glossary of key words - Improving exam techniques

Human Connections: - Healthy mind, body & spirit (eating, brain food, sleeping and exercise) - Coping with stress, anxiety & pressure - Accessing peak motivation states and overcoming procrastination - Anchoring for success (triggering previous peak states whenever you need to) - Relaxation techniques (including meditation) - Breaking through negative thoughts and beliefs - Emotional freedom techniques

 

Full Day Program:

This is a great opportunity to have 2 speakers at your school run a ‘Senior School Success’ day for your Year 10/11/12 students for only $19.80 per student.

Your Year 10/11/12 group is split in half and spends half a day in a workshop with each speaker (we fit in around your break times).

Cost: $19.80 per student

Minimum number for the above pricing is 100 students. If you have less than 100 students, or are interested in a different combination of sessions, please contact us and we will put together a pricing package for your school.

 

Two Session Program:

Run two sessions at your school (each 1-1.5 hours in length) for only $13.20 per student. The content  for the two sessions is a cut-down version of the content listed above.

Your Year 10/11/12 group is split in half and spends a session with each speaker (we fit in around your break times).

Cost: $13.20 per student

Minimum number for the above pricing is 100 students. If you have less than 100 students, or are interested in a different combination of sessions, please contact us and we will put together a pricing package for your school.

 

+ Optional Add On: Follow-up Parent Presentation

‘How to support your child through senior school’. Follow-up parent presentations can be tailored to the time you have available. Feedback from parents about these presentations has been excellent. Giving parents and students the same message helps to reinforce the ideas and techniques and create a working partnership between parents and students.
