Welcome to the first newsletter for Enhanced Learning Educational Services
Our organisation specialises in helping schools help students develop effective study skills. This newsletter (sent once a term) will provide you with information about special offers as well as some other useful resources Year Coordinators can use to help their students.
NOTE: If you would prefer not to receive this email newsletter once a term, simply reply (to sender) with ‘unsubscribe’ in the subject line.
1. Study Skills Tip of the Term:

You may like to put the tips in your school newsletter or increase the font size and put them on the student noticeboard:
“Find your POWER TIME. We all have parts of the day when we are particularly effective and focused. For some people this is at 6 in the morning. For others it could be 4.30pm or even 11pm. Start to take notice of when you are most productive. Allocate the most difficult and challenging tasks of the day to this particular time. Many students waste their power time on routine or non-productive tasks. Match the complexity of your tasks with your own efficiency cycles for best results.”
($30 Angus and Robertson book voucher for the best ‘tip of the term’. Send your suggestions to info@enhanced-learning.net).
2. Resources
- Book Review : ‘How to Motivate your child for school and Beyond’. By Dr A J Martin. A great resource written in a very easy-to-read style. If parents are struggling with a student who lacks motivation, suggest they might like to read this book. Maybe your school could get their own copy that you can loan out to parents. http://www.angusrobertson.com.au/search/results.asp?searchbycriteria=
